Allscripts RCM Services is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering that provides an end-to-end, integrated financial and administrative management solution for physician practices. The cost-effective solution requires no new hardware and is designed to assist providers in their efforts to meet the regulatory requirements of health reform and improve both hospital and practice financial performance.

"With value-based care on the horizon, ready to tie our payments to health outcomes, we need a partner like Allscripts with the right experience and toolset to help our physicians meet and exceed revenue and quality performance targets," said Gary Boyd, Chief Executive Officer of Mammoth Hospital. "After looking at virtually every company in the field, we're confident that outsourcing our physician business office with Allscripts will help us achieve sustained, positive financial performance, freeing our physicians to focus on providing great care for the people of Mammoth Lakes."

Allscripts RCM Services provides physician practices of nearly every size and specialty with a comprehensive outsourced revenue cycle solution that is paid for on an ongoing basis, as a percentage of their monthly collections. The turnkey, full-service billing and collections solution manages the entire revenue cycle continuum, from operational planning to final collections and denials management – all working in synch to enable providers to drive out costs and drive in cash flow. Mammoth will take advantage of add-on solutions including financial decision support, clinical and operational analytics, and a patient portal with online bill pay.

"Allscripts is one of the world's largest processors of physician payments and providers of practice management solutions. We're excited to work with the physicians of Mammoth Hospital to provide our SaaS-based, fully integrated Revenue Cycle Management service that not only will allow them to continue to deliver great clinical care to their patients but to do so profitably amid an increasingly complicated and changing business and regulatory environment," said Glen Tullman, Chief Executive Officer of Allscripts. "Our RCM service gives physicians a trusted partner to manage the business end of medicine so they can focus on the patient."

To help ensure that patients receive the highest quality care, Allscripts solutions interoperate with other health information systems. The Allscripts solutions deployed at Mammoth will be integrated with the hospital's inpatient health information system from Siemens. The integration helps ensure that providers in the hospital and the clinic will have the same information helping physicians provide patients with consistent, appropriate care, and to enable diagnostic coding to flow smoothly into the claims management process and across the continuum of care.
